NAP-GSP Regional Training Workshop for South America

Representatives of 11 Latin-American countries met in Bogota, Colombia, to discuss and share their ongoing experiences in the development and implementation of their National Adaptation Plans (NAP), as part of their efforts to address the medium and long-term climate change challenges.
The NAP-GSP workshop received the support of UNEP’s Regional Gateway for Technology Transfer and Climate Change Action in Latin America and the Caribbean (REGATTA), the Government of Colombia, and other partners. It was attended by 37 Delegates from the ministries of Environment and Planning/Finance of South-American countries (Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay and Venezuela) and Mexico, as well as other partner organizations (UNDP, UN Environment, FAO, IISD and GCF).
