First Live Chat Session - 19 June 2013
This “live” chat event gives you the opportunity to raise questions directly to Professor Robert Mendelsohn and Agha Ali Akram from Yale University. It provides a virtual classroom setting where you can learn not only from the lead experts, but also from your fellow country teams.
The Programme’s Communities of Practice team (Augustine Kwan and Jihyun Kim) and Claudia Ortiz, the Programme Coordinator, are pleased to announce and invite you to participate in the first of a series of ECCA “live” chat events.
The first event will take place on;
Date: Wednesday, 19 June 2013
Time: 08:00 to 10:00 hours, New York time (17:30 to 18:30 Colombo; 18:00 – 20:00 Dhaka; 19:00 to 21:00 Bangkok time). Please allow 2 hours for the session.

As your Lead Mentors, Prof. Robert Mendelsohn and Ali Akram will be online to discuss issues related to the Agriculture Survey, including the tailored instrument, sampling, testing and coding. Claudia will circulate material on sampling by the beginning of June.
The web address to easily access the virtual classroom using your Facebook account (or as Guest) will be available soon. The CoP team will also be sending some basic ground rules via email.
In meantime, please inform Claudia (claudia.ortiz@undp.org) to confirm your participation. Furthermore, in order to facilitate the first “live” chat event and steer the discussion in the right direction, please e-mail Claudia any questions you have related to the Agriculture Survey by COB Friday, 14 June 2013.
Claudia Ortiz will be 'sitting' in as Moderator during the session.
