Canada-UNDP Climate Change Adaptation Facility: Experiences from Mali
This photostory illustrates activities being undertaken and results achieved under a Canada-funded climate change adaptation project in Mali. This project aims to all to strengthen resilience and reduce the impacts of climate change on rural livelihoods. It supports the replication and scale up of new agricultural strategies and small-scale infrastructure first introduced under a previously implemented GEF/LDCF project. In particular, it focuses on three successful approaches: the use of resilient seeds, establishing or strengthening women's vegetable gardens, and engaging in reforestation activities.
