This webinar is part of a series of south-south exchanges organized by the NAP-GSP in 2020, and this one is focused on African Anglophone LDCs. It will be organised in partnership with the Africa Adaptation Initiative (AAI) and the African Development Bank (AfDB). We will hear experience in aligning NAPs and NDCs from Ethiopia, Lesotho, Liberia, Rwanda, Sierra Leone, Somalia, Sudan, during panel presentations and a moderated discussion.
Topics for discussion :
- How does the NAP process align with the NDC and development agenda, in particular the NDC revision process?
- How can countries leverage financing for NDC and NAP implementation, in particular private finance?
- In light of COVID-19 response, do the identified adaptation priorities and actions in the NAP/NDC contribute to green and resilient recovery objectives?
